As the world of education shifts, educators must embrace change and discover how current teaching practices can be enhanced and transformed by digital learning. This session will motivate teachers to consider the 4C’s of Education and Digital Learning: Collaboration, communication, creativity, and critical thinking. With these skills, the classroom setting can be enhanced and transformed in order to promote a student‑centered classroom. Google Apps for Education provides numerous options for teachers as they shift current practices, and attendees will be exposed to a variety of successful digital learning models based on the 4C’s and GAFE. Attendees will learn that in order to create an effective digital learning classroom environment, the focus must be placed on the skills and how instructional practices can promote student success. The various Google Apps for Education tools will be the driving force behind the discussion and promotion of digital learning in the classroom.

Session Format: Facilitation - participant driven with guidance from the facilitator.
