Using materials and a free web portal provided by Design for Change USA, learn how 6th grade students followed the Design Thinking model developed in partnership with IDEO, Stanford. Evidence and resources will be shared that documents and helps you create self-directed teams of students who observe problems, interview community members, design solutions, and present their findings. I'm inquisitive and love to learn new things. I enjoy being able to facilitate my students to be excited about their learning.

I'm curious about everything! I find that I learn best when I'm on a quest with friends, asking questions and researching to find out more about just about anything. I'd love to learn more about tools to facilitate inquiry based learning for my students. I have a special interest in STEAM and co-lead a club called STEAM Team, http://steamteamcrone.edublogs.org/.
